چکیده

Safety, disponibility and continuity of industrial systems are major issue in maintenance. In the last decades, these points important axes field research. fact, many processes research has picked up a fervent place particular importance area fault diagnosis electrical machines, prognosis become almost indispensable. The need mathematical model three-phase induction machine, suitable for simulation machines behaviour under conditions, received considerable attention. paper presents new practical more precise motors after introducing inter turn short circuits faults. proposed is based on coupled magnetic circuit theory, capable to take into account any asymmetry conditions. To verify exactitude effectiveness model, results machine interturn presented. spite its simplicity, able provide useful indications diagnostic purposes. Experimental study presented at end show that predicts behavior with good accuracy.

Wing Technique: A Novel Approach for the Detection of Stator Winding Inter-Turn Short Circuit and Open Circuit Faults in Three Phase Induction Motors

This paper presents a novel approach based on the loci of instantaneous symmetrical components called “Wing Shape” which requires the measurement of three input stator currents and voltages to diagnose interturn insulation faults in three phase induction motors operating under different loading conditions. In this methodology, the effect of unbalanced supply conditions, constructional imbalance...

Modelling and simulation of induction motors with inter-turn faults for diagnostics

This paper presents two orthogonal axis models for simulation of three-phase induction motors having asymmetrical windings and inter-turn short circuits on the stator. The first model assumes that each stator phase winding has a different number of turns. To model shorted stator turns, the second model assumes phase as has two windings in series, representing the unaffected portion and the shor...

Inter-turn Short Circuit Fault Diagnosis of Induction Motors Using the Svm Optimized by Bare-bones Particle Swarm Optimization

In order to accurately recognize the stator winding inter-turn short circuit fault of induction motors, a novel method for fault diagnosis was proposed based on a bare-bones particle swarm optimization algorithm (BBPSO) and support vector machine (SVM); and feasible diagnostic steps were also introduced. In this method, the feature vector of induction motor in different conditions was extracted...

Mixed Resistive Unbalance and Winding Inter-Turn Faults Model of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors

This work analyzes the behavior of surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motors (SPMSMs) operating under stator faults. The studied faults are resistive unbalance and winding inter-turn short circuits, which may lead to unbalanced conditions of the motor. Both faults may reduce motor efficiency and performance and produce premature ageing. This work develops an analytical model of the mo...

Design of an Active Approach for Detection, Estimation and Short-Circuit Stator Fault Tolerant Control in Induction Motors

Three phase induction motors have many applications in industries. Consequently, detecting and estimating the fault and compensate it in a way that the faulty induction motor satisfies the predefined goals are important issues. One of the most common faults in induction motors is the short circuit of the stator winding. In this paper, an active fault-tolerant control system is designed and pres...
